Location: the turnoff is on the 58, north of Onna and the 104, the park is signposted
This is an interesting spot, a place where Japanese families hang out. If you follow the road up the hill, you get to a couple of park buildings and parking lots, and a great play area for the kiddos. People set up tents near the shower block and have cookouts.
There are a variety of hiking trails in the park, although the signposting is not helpful. We wandered towards the disused tennis courts and from there found our way onto a trail that led uphill out to a viewing area overlooking Motobu - in the distance Nago city almost looks like a Mediterranean port town.
