Location: Ginowan; if driving south on the 330, pass Ginowan City Hall and make the first right after the Fire Station (Casa Pana is on the left side of the street), you can see the cafe from the 330. Parking in front.
Hours 10a-10p closed every Wed and the last Thurs of each month. No English menu but some of the waitstaff speak some English, and you just order the lunch set anyway

This is a stylish and sophisticated cafe, on our visit filled with young Japanese couples. Bossa nova plays softly. It appears from the menu they do a breakfast set for 480Y with two pieces of toast, a boiled egg, and coffee. Weekdays, there is a lunch set for 900+Y (pasta, veg, salad, and coffee/tea) and a Tandori chicken sandwich set for 880Y. On Sunday, we had the Holiday set for 1200Y.
First out was a cream-veggie soup which was quite pleasant. Next, a cabbage-lettuce salad with a mild thousand-island type dressing. The meal picked up speed with the bruschetta, topped with a lovely garlic-potato-basil mix. The main was a fantastic pasta dish - the best we have had to date in Okinawa. Angel-hair pasta with tomato-garlic-bacon-chili sauce, complex in flavour. There was no sweet undertone as you find in most Japanese tomato sauces, instead a welcome bit of heat from the chili. To finish, you get tea or coffee (iced or hot) and a slice of cake. Ours was a delightful sponge cake layered with fresh fruit and topped in whipped cream icing. Their other cakes look stunning, especially the chocolate-banana one pictured on the website, but we have no personal experience (yet) with those.
